f(x)


F(x) is a South Korean girl group formed in Seoul, South Korea. This girl group was formed in 2009 by, SM Entertainment. The name is a play on the mathematical notation for function, with "f" signifying "flower" and "x" representing the females’ double X chromosome. The f(x) was composed of five members, Victoria, Amber, Luna, Sulli, and Krystal.

The Members:

Victoria Song (born on February 2, 1987), better known by her stage name Victoria, is a Chinese pop singer and model active in Korea. She was the leader of the girl group f(x).

She was born in Qingdao, Shandong. Her first media appearance was for a Spris commercial in early 2008 with South Korean singer-actor Lee Jung-ki and nobrain.


Amber Lui (born on September 18, 1992), commonly known as Amber, is the Chinese-American member of the group. She often mistaken for a boy, because of her attire.

Amber was from Orange County, California and been receiving vocal, rap, Korean and dance training in Korea. She’s very fluent in English and also stands out a lot, due to her charismatic and boyish looks.


Park Sun Young (born on August 12, 1993), also known as Luna of the Korean girl group f(x). Luna has been receiving dance, vocal and English lessons since 2006 and is said to be extremely talented.


Choi Sulli (born on March 29, 1994), better known as just Sulli is a Korean pop singer and actresss. She first debuted as a child actress in 2005 and then as a singer of quintet dancr group f(x) in 2009.

She made a small supporting appearance as the childhood crush of TVXQ's Mickey in the theatrical drama Vacation. Sulli later landed a small role in Punch Lady and The Flower Girl is Here (2007) and also BABO (2008)
Krystal Jung (born on October 24, 1994), and was commonly known as just Krystal. She was the youngest member of the group. She was an American born Korean pop singer and commercial model. She was the sister of Jessica of Girls’ Generation.

Krystal was born in San Francisco, California, where her family from Korea settled in the 1980s. Krystal began appearing in television commercials; she first appeared in a Lotte commercial with Korean actress Han Ga-in, in 2006.
